Alloway FC vs Buderim FC

allowayfc3vs buderim fc

Alloway Football Club Senior Division One team will travel to Buderim on the beautiful Sunshine Coast to play Buderim Wanderers FC in their annual pre season match. This game has now been played for over 4 years. The game will be played at 3pm today 20/2/10. This will give the team an excellent hit out prior to the start of the Football Bundaberg season in March. Buderim have been the form side of the Sunshine Coast league for many years.

Alloway should be bolstered after the loss of many players in the off season, the club has gained many new players to the club with some ex Brisbane State League players and some new international players to the club. The club has also seen the return of Mark Gatt, who last played for Alloway in under 16's. This run will give Ray Cauchi, 1st division coach, a good look at the squad to finalise his roster for the 2010 season.

NEW A-League team Melbourne Heart have signed former Socceroo Clint Bolton as the club's first goalkeeper. Bolton is the first goalkeeper to join the Heart and coach John van't Schip said the 34-year-old former Socceroo had plenty of good form ahead of him.

Now 34, he has made more than 400 first-team appearances across an 18-year professional career that has seen him represent Australia at all age levels, including four senior caps for the Socceroos. Bolton played for Alloway in his junior playing years before moving to Brothers Aston Villa and then to Brisbane to play for the Brisbane Strikers.
